Coach Mike Ayers, Head Football Coach at Wofford College and Spartanburg FCA Board member, spoke to 455 players and coaches at the Southern Slam 7on7 Football Tournament at Spartanburg High School. Board member Josh Cash organized the event which included BBQ supper provided by Southern Design Services.

Decision time at the Ladies Team Basketball Camp. USC Upstate was the camp site. Team Chapels were held at "The Hangar" at First Baptist Church Spartanburg. Kaye O'Sullivan was Camp Director.

The Spartanburg County FCA National Day of Prayer Rally was held at the "Hangar". Youth Pastor, Seth Buckley and his band led the music. Danny Buggs, FCA National Inter-City Director, was our speaker. Over 400 students attended. 100's were at the alter in prayer at the end of the service.

Former professional football player Chris Shepherd has been in our area speaking to schools at Cowpens Middle, Whitlock Jr. High, Spartanburg Methodist College Basketball Teams, Wofford College Football Team, and did a "See You at the Pole" Rally at The Hangar for First Baptist Church, as well as, their Deacon Supper.

What a great two days for our area as "Shep" shared how God brought him though some tough situations to bring him to the ministry of FCA!
