| TAILGATE PARTY 2009
Kaye O’Sullivan and I count it an honor to share our thanks and that of all coaches and athletes in Spartanburg County for your participation in our November 12, 2009, FCA Tailgate Party event conducted at the Spartanburg County Convention Center.
Developing relationships with a community of individuals who share the passion, mission, and vision that is FCA in Spartanburg County is exciting! Your attendance on November 12 indicated to us that you have a serious interest in the lives of coaches and athletes in Spartanburg County. We can share victoriously that lives of coaches and athletes have been changed, and we continue to see God’s handiwork through our experiences with them in huddle groups; Bible studies before, during, and after school; special training sessions; team camps; and special focus events like Women in Sport. Literally hundreds of lives are touched, and God’s Word is shared at every venue. Read more >> |

Former professional football player Chris Shepherd has been in our area speaking to schools at Cowpens Middle, Whitlock Jr. High, Spartanburg Methodist College Basketball Teams, Wofford College Football Team, and did a "See You at the Pole" Rally at The Hangar for First Baptist Church, as well as, their Deacon Supper. What a great two days for our area as "Shep" shared how God brought him though some tough situations to bring him to the ministry of FCA! |

Jerome Hall is certain that he and fellow Spartanburg resident Andrew Hewitt had a little help while competing in a charity tournament that kicked off the BMW Pro-Am last Monday at Bright’s Creek Golf Club in Columbus, N.C.
Despite persistent wind gusts often in excess of 40 miles per hour, Hall and Hewitt played well enough to beat 35 other teams and win the 18-hole event. Read more »
