The Midlands/Greater Columbia FCA Region has been thriving since the early ’80’s. Through regular visits in local schools and in the community, relationships have been built and ministry opportunities have been plentiful. Over 75 campuses have active FCA groups. We have community ministries are in place throughout the region, outreach events are being held and athletes/coaches are having positive camp experiences. Meaningful Bible studies for coaches and athletes are taking place as they learn to coach and play according to Biblical principles. Four full-time staff and three part-time members currently serves in the our 8 county area witch also includes a ministry at USC.

FCA staff equips area coaches, volunteers, and students with resources, materials, information, and ministry opportunities. They encourage through regular campus visits, prayer, Bible studies, email, outreach events, retreats, and leadership training. This in turn empowers the coaches, volunteers, and student/athletes to boldly live out their faith, grow in their relationship with Christ, and share the Gospel on their campuses, in their communities, and in the arena of competition.

Camps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

The non-school based FCA ministries reach the community through partnerships with the local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers. FCA also has a presence at, or hosted several other community events:

  • 2 FCA Football Jamboree Events Outreaches
  • USC Spring Football Clinic Breakfast
  • Annual FCA Development Dinner
  • Annual FCA Golf Tournament in May


Our Annual FCA Budget is $328,000. Our monthly need is $25,000. FCA is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization. All monies raised are 100% tax-deductible. 85.9% of every dollar raised goes directly to ministry. Your investment goes to:

  • Fund our area staff member to service/minister on our current FCA Campuses ; Helps us expand
  • Provide FCA Camp and Retreat Scholarships
  • Pay for resources (Bibles, materials & supplies)
  • Money for Annual Outreach projects
